The home can accommodate up to 24 residents in our pleasant and cheerfully decorated single or double bedrooms. The bedrooms have TV points and an alarm call system, in addition to the usual appointments.
There is a passenger lift to all floors and wheelchair access to the front and rear of the building, ensuring that those with limited mobility can enjoy our facilities.
Our lounges have unrestricted views across Morecambe Bay to the Lake District Mountains. This provides a grand, ever changing outlook with many species of seabirds, the spectacular sunsets, the ebb and flow of the tide and the continual activity of the fishing boats.
Musical and occupational therapy sessions are held regularly, these can include board games, musical performers, bingo, quizzes, trips to shops and park, library etc and other activities designed to stimulate social inclusion.
Questionnaires are used to enable residents to choose the type of entertainment they wish.
All meals are cooked in our own kitchen, this enables us to provide a wide choice at meal times, special diets and individual preferences are catered for. The meals are served in our Dining Room, situated on the lower ground floor overlooking thePromenade. Light refreshments are also readily available throughout the day and night, this service extends, free of charge, to residents visitors.
